When you finish that round of editing take two breaths and then get going on formatting and layout so you can make your own personally set deadlines- that’s #authorgoals #amwriting.
Thing is, as an indie author/writer unless you’re hiring a ghostwriter you’ve got to do the work. No matter what other help you employ in the process you have to write it, edit yourself first, and quite possibly a whole lot more.
If you love the story you’re telling, you’ll do it because you believe those characters deserve to live outside your mind. Whether you’re medium is books, plays, or film you have to write and edit and make sure it’s formatted to standard or you’ll lose audiences, opportunities or both.
The process is not easy, but bringing your vision to life can be worth it. Set your sights, your expectations, and get to work.
